And now,here’s my attempt at reviewing every monthly solos as they come out! (Or at least as close as possible) Starting with Mia’s solos for January,White Delight and Joy is all Around! :

White Delight: 4/5 - In the best way possible,it sounds like a Love Live winter song. Good thing I always love Love Live winter songs! Like at some points it sounds a little bit like Snow Halation especially,but it makes it different and very “Mia” if that makes sense - I like it a lot,plus I just really missed her singing in both EN and JP bc it’s been FOREVER since she has so I’m just very happy about that :D

Joy is All Around: 5/5 - Now THERE’S the 2000s Disney channel pop sound she usually does! Like it almost gives me a sort of “winter musical special” kind of feeling,but in a way that really suits her like hello?? I love the sort of big band-y sound and how well…joyful this song feels! Both songs are really good,but I might just like JIAA a little bit more bc there’s just a silly je ne sai quois to it,yknow? Idk it’s just really fun that’s all ^u^

i need to like. hire someone to explain jamovi to me. they keep telling us and i can easily navigate Basics (like. descriptives and factors and such for cronbach's alpha and plots and whatever) but jesus christ i do Not understand how to compute and transform my variables. why is coding required. why doesn't it just do it

i know i said something about this somewhere but i can't find where so if you stumble on it later and i'm saying something here that contradicts it.... this is the Superior post okay give it more power. i've actually put dedicated thought into it on this one ;sdlkfjg;dlkjg. okay so:

tech is not, really, into the zones mythos. shes also not Not into the mythos. theres probably a whole big post i could make about it but for this post the reason i bring it up is actually just to say: she is what i would call variably superstitious about numbers. variably because it often heavily depends on the context where she encounters them, and she tends to treat them more as signs than mystical themselves. superstitious because good numbers exist, and so do bad numbers.

3 and 4 are good signs, lead ups to good things

5 is ...kind of like her number, she often treats it like a call to attention, this is for me for some reason. it doesn't always lead to luck or good but it's something she's "supposed" to follow

6's are bad.

9 is... complicated. depending on the context it can urge her forward or make her double back.

25 is 5's spiritual opposite; kind of like bad luck, mostly like a red flag, cosmic sign this is Not for me, or anybody else (not anymore)

probably there are others but these are the only ones i'm sure of so far

all of this does depend a little on where these numbers pop up. counting up supplies and you've got 25 of something is neither here nor there, it just is. if shes specifically setting out on a big kind of moment and the number crops up in a weird place, or multiple times, she'll treat it like an omen. sometimes this strongly effects her choices, sometimes she's more willing to shrug it off.

This is a "complain into the void about being annoyed" post so feel free to ignore lol

ok like i get being mad about the a/c not being fixed as fast as you'd like and the various other legitimate maintenance problems ppl have been dealing with when they shouldn't have to be. but pls don't get mad at the maintenance workers not being able to give you a timeline for a fix because of the ADMIN not having tracking info for a part they need for your a/c repair as if they were the ones who manufactured the part and handle it's transport like babe not only do the guys who come in to do your work likely not handle this shit themselves separate from the admin, but the housing org and the a/c part ppl are seperate businesses, ran by people with limited time/resources/staff and high demand like. The ppl could literally just not have stuff to tell you because THEY weren't given a way to track it themselves by the a/c part seller? You don't always get tracking info, like when a teacher i know had issues with getting a part shipped for an oven issue they were fixing or with some international orders. Did ya think that maybe they aren't purposefully trying to slight you in any way but are just ppl with limited info and resources who ALSO would rather just fix your issue and be done with it like? Be mad about the high cost of living with an administration that isn't as efficient as it should be considering the scope of their work and the high demand, be mad with issues like your a/c or water not working properly considering the price you pay for maintenance and the space itself, but don't get mad at the repair workers for issues outside of their control or make a fuss because of a "problem" that really is just how life goes sometimes, instead of acting like it was meant to be a personal slight just cause it's not the most convenient or what you wanted

Somehow managed to mostly finish my C lab today by the start of lab time. But there were a few problems I had with some of the loops I had that my TA ended up helping me figure out what was wrong. So, a finicky lab, But the good news is that the next lab for this class isn't gonna be nearly as much work. Or so I've heard.

Gotta do my essay writing today. Not gonna try to work on my web programming thing today, bc im several days sleep deprived and I need to rest up before driving tomorrow. Just gonna have to try to steal some time to do it after everything tomorrow (if I have the energy for it) & whatever remains will be done Sunday night. Whether I get any sleep or not.

Sigh. I'm almost done, tho. I'm almost done...
